A Black-Eyed Proclamation
(2011 & 2012)
Black-Eyed Proclamation is a performance work which reasserts belief in tradition and heritage performed by Whitney Hunter. The use of two elements that are bound together by a significant event in American history, the emancipation of African American slaves, are brought together once again for a moment of “nourishment.”
The work will begin at 11:30 on December 31st 2011 into the new year.
